After such a nice time in Dubai I was even more excited to experience the Maldives. I have heard and read lots of things about the Maldives so I couldn't wait. We flew from Dubai to Male and from there we had to get the sea plane (this i couldn't wait for) to our Island Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa. It was a 45 minute journey, it was tiny, noisey but such a smooth ride. Such great fun my cheeks were hurting from all the smiling I was doing. As we flew over the Islands it was breathtaking. The colours of the water were amazing. As we started our decent I could see our Island, it was scattered with white peaked roofs, it was just like a picture in a holiday brochure.

We were greeted with an ice cold towel and a lovely cocktail, mmmmm just what I needed. As we arrived the sun began to set, we were tired and hungry so we sorted ourselves out and than went for dinner.

We woke up quite early, I couldnt wait to see our view. We were staying in a hut on stilts (another thing off the list) I could not believe my eyes. I was in paradise. The water, colours, the heat, and the FISH. The fish were mesmerising, all shapes, colours and sizes. I couldnt wait to acquaint my self with them. We were staying on a reef so you can imagine it was a hive of activity.

The Island is small. Its tranquil, beautifully kept and the staff are second to none. If your looking for somewhere to drop off the earth for a week or so than this is the place. Although its small there is plenty to do. Dolphin watching, snorkelling trips, morning and sunset fishing trips, water sports, spa, romantic dinners on the beach, its all here.

This destination is definitely paradise to me. My husband always says never go back, but even this place has changed his mind.

I'm now off to the travel agents🌴🐠😊

Love SS xx
