The New addition
For years I have been using the same moisturiser daily, but as I'm getting a little older now I thought it was high time to try something new. With so many different brands on the market it really was quite daunting but I needed a change. I trolled through all the beauty magazines I could lay my hands on to get some inspiration with honest reviews. I personally look at purchasing new beauty products as an investment, so I wanted to be sure to pick the right one for my skin texture/age. I picked up lots of free samples to try and found that the one that made my skin feel so hydrated the minute I applied it was the Clinique dramatically different moisturising lotion. 'Yes I know Im really late on the bandwagon but hey.. better late than never"!

Well that was about a year and a half ago and I've been very happy with it up until now!
Just before Christmas I saw that Clinique had brought out a new addition to my moisturiser. I was surprised to hear this because I didn't think that there could be anything better than the one I am using at the moment. I was running low on my moisturiser so I took myself off to the Clinique counter in John Lewis. I spoke to the assistant who explained that the new Clinique ID Active Cartridge was something that you add to the normal moisturiser (the base). You customise it yourself so you choose which cartridge suits you. Either fine lines and wrinkles, fatigue, uneven skin tone, pores and uneven skin texture and one for irritation. I chose the cartridge for fine lines and wrinkles.

Its easy to use, just insert the cartridge into your base and pump away! It dispenses the correct dose of your chosen active ingredients.
I would say that having used this cream for only a short while I can definitely see a difference in my skins appearance. My skin still feels very hydrated just like before.. but appears smoother too.
If your like me and you have been using the same old product for years I'd say give it a go, what have you got to lose.
I'm now going to have a rethink on some of my other beauty products and make some more changes. S.S xx
